Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will work full time in office at Smarkupp Studios’ Noida location, focusing on improving search visibility and organic performance for client brands. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research, performing detailed SEO audits, and implementing on-page optimization across websites and landing pages. The specialist will monitor and interpret web analytics, track rankings and traffic trends, and prepare performance reports with clear recommendations.

This role involves planning and executing ethical link-building strategies, collaborating with content, design, and development teams to align SEO best practices, and staying current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to refine strategies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in keyword research and on-page SEO, including optimizing meta tags, content, site structure, and internal linking.
- Candidates should possess experience in conducting comprehensive SEO audits to identify technical, content, and usability issues that impact search performance.




- Candidates should possess proficiency in link building, including outreach, relationship development, and implementation of high-quality, compliant backlink strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in web analytics, including using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms to measure and report performance.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals (crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile optimization, structured data) is beneficial.
- Prior experience in an agency or multi-client environment and familiarity with major CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in SEO and digital marketing.
