Roles and Responsibilities

1. Own complete and independent development of assigned tasks to launch recent products or iterate over existing features.
2. Own technical design for projects of moderate complexity
3. You will implement cutting-edge technologies and will be writing state-of-the-art code to keep Loadshare at the cutting edge of current technology.
4. Innovating new / unique ways to solve known and unknown problems.
5. Using independent judgment in selection of alternative courses of action.
6. Deliver products to QA that they believe are well-baked and bug-free.
7. Assist QA in identifying and validating test cases and can identify regression risks in their features.
8. Participate extensively in code reviews, and mentor others via code reviews and pairing.

1. Timeliness of delivery as per plan made by POD lead engineer.
2. Velocity of software engineering
3. Quality of deliverables - Defects in QA, Post Production , Performance bottlenecks in production
4. Coding quality and architecture standards

Key Skills & Background:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Solid understanding of core CS fundamental concepts.
- Strong development, coding experience in one or more programming languages like OO Programming (Java), Functional/Scripting languages. Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms, Concurrency.
- Expertise in more than one of the persistence technologies (Cassandra, Redis, Elastic Search, RDBMS).
- Proven expert and go to person for one technology.
- Acquired at least one major skill outside of programming such as monitoring, performance optimization, documentation, integration testing, visual design.
