- Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement of mechanical and automotive components.

- Develop, evaluate, and maintain a reliable vendor and supplier network.

- Identify new suppliers and drive vendor development for recent and existing components.

- Understand technical drawings, BOMs, specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes.

- Coordinate with R&D;/Engineering teams for technical feasibility, component sourcing, and cost optimization.

- Negotiate price, payment terms, lead time, MOQ, quality, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production and project requirements.

- Monitor supplier performance, including quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.





- Work closely with Quality and Engineering teams for sample approval, trials, PPAP and supplier qualification.

- Identify alternate/local suppliers to improve cost, availability, and supply continuity.

- Track purchase orders, material schedules, pending supplies, and delivery commitments.

- Resolve supply issues, shortages, quality concerns, and delivery delays with suppliers.

- Maintain procurement records, vendor data, quotations, comparative statements, and commercial documentation.

- Support cost reduction, localization, value engineering, and supply chain improvement initiatives.
