About the Role

We are looking for a creative and research-oriented Script Writer to join our content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging, informative, and audience-focused scripts for videos promoting our higher education degree programs, universities, courses, and student career opportunities.

The candidate should be able to simplify complex academic information and transform it into compelling content that resonates with students, working professionals, and prospective learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Write engaging scripts for YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, and educational content.
- Develop scripts around degree programs, specializations, universities, admissions, career opportunities, student experiences, and higher education trends.
- Research education, career, and industry-related topics to create accurate and relevant content.
- Convert complex course and academic information into simple, conversational, and engaging narratives.
- Create strong hooks, storytelling structures, CTAs, and video narratives that drive audience engagement and student enquiries.
- Collaborate with the Content, Marketing, Design, Video, and Academic teams to understand content requirements.
- Adapt scripts based on different platforms, target audiences, and content formats.
- Ensure scripts align with the brand's tone, messaging, and communication guidelines.
- Review and edit scripts based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated with higher education trends, student preferences, digital content trends, and competitor communication.




- Ensure all academic and program-related information presented in scripts is accurate and appropriately communicated.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in script writing, content writing, copywriting, or digital content creation.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and storytelling.
- Excellent research and content development skills.
- Ability to write in a conversational, engaging, and youth-oriented tone.
- Understanding of YouTube, Instagram, short-form video, and social media content formats.
- Ability to create compelling hooks, narratives, and CTAs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in EdTech, higher education, online education, or digital learning.
- Experience writing scripts for education, career guidance, university/course promotion, or student-focused content.
- Basic understanding of SEO, social media trends, and content performance metrics.
- Familiarity with AI-powered content creation and research tools.
