Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP WM Consultant with 9–15 years of SAP experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM).

The ideal candidate should have successfully delivered at least 2 End-to-End SAP WM implementation projects and should be capable of handling solution design, configuration, testing, integration, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute SAP WM implementation projects from requirement gathering through go-live and hypercare support.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP WM solutions.
- Perform hands-on SAP WM configuration across warehouse management processes.
- Configure and manage:
- Organizational Structure
- Storage Types and Storage Sections
- Storage Bins
- Putaway Strategies
- Picking Strategies
- Transfer Orders
- Inventory Management
- Physical Inventory
- Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI)

- Work on SAP WM integration with:

- MM –
- Materials Management
- SD –
- Sales &
- Distribution
- PP –
- Production Planning
- QM –
- Quality Management

- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and fit-gap analysis.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements and developments.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and end-user training.
- Participate in data migration, cutover planning, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.




- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP WM functional and business process issues.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Follow SAP best practices while designing and implementing warehouse processes.

Must-Have Skill Set

- 9–15 years of SAP experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration and implementation.
- Minimum 2 End-to-End SAP WM implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of core SAP WM processes:
- Storage Types
- Storage Sections
- Storage Bins
- Putaway
- Picking
- Transfer Orders
- Inventory Management
- Physical Inventory
- GR/GI processes

- Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, PP, and QM.
- Experience in complex warehouse operations and logistics execution.
- Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, testing, defect resolution, and implementation activities.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP/technical teams.
- Robust stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skill Set
- Exposure to SAP EWM.
- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Knowledge of RF transactions and barcode solutions.
