Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SAP MM Functional Consultant with 6+ years of professional experience and strong domain expertise in Purchasing and Procurement to join our enterprise supply chain team. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end procurement workflows, configure core SAP MM modules, and ensure optimal inventory levels using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Consumption-Based Planning (CBP). You will also collaborate closely with supply chain teams on integration touchpoints with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

Key Responsibilities

- Procurement Operations: Design, configure, and optimize end-to-end Purchasing and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes within SAP MM (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Release Strategies, Pricing Procedures, and Vendor Evaluation).
- Materials & Demand Planning: Configure and manage MRP and CBP runs to streamline material availability, reduce stock-outs, and optimize safety stock levels.
- Integrated Supply Chain: Collaborate with planning and demand management teams to align SAP MM inventory and purchasing workflows with SAP IBP.
- Cross-Module Integration: Drive integration touchpoints between SAP MM and related modules, including Sales & Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting & Controlling (FI/CO), and Production Planning (PP).
- System Customization & Enhancement: Author functional specifications (FS) for custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, and forms; perform unit testing (UT), integration testing (IT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Data & Operations:



Oversee master data management (Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records) and support data migration using LTMC/BAPI tools.

Required Qualifications & SkillsCore Technical Skills

- SAP MM Expertise: Strong functional configuration experience in SAP MM (SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC 6.0).
- Purchasing & Procurement: Deep domain knowledge in end-to-end purchasing, vendor management, outline agreements, special procurement (subcontracting, consignment), and Stock Transport Orders (STO).
- Materials Planning: Hands-on experience implementing or managing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and CBP (Consumption-Based Planning).
- SAP IBP Exposure: Familiarity or practical exposure to SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) integration concepts.

Skilled Experience

- 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant across full lifecycle implementations, rollouts, or production support.
- Proven track record of interacting directly with business stakeholders, documenting business requirements, and writing detailed Functional Specifications.
- Experience with master data migration tools (LTMC, LSMW, or BAPI).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science) or Supply Chain Management.
- SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement Certification.




- Experience in testing and ticketing platforms such as JIRA or ServiceNow.

- Cross-Module & IBP Integration: Explain how SAP MM integrates with related modules like SD, FI/CO, or PP in your past projects. How did you coordinate with planning teams regarding inventory touchpoints or demand signals feeding into SAP IBP?
