Role Description The SAP Materials Management Consultant is a full time position in a hybrid work model based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the consultant designs, configures, and supports SAP MM and related modules to optimize materials management and procurement processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, mapping processes in SAP, performing system configuration, and supporting integration with warehouse management and logistics functions.

The role also involves troubleshooting issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams,



preparing documentation and test cases, and training key users on new or improved functionalities. The consultant collaborates closely with business stakeholders to implement best practices, improve data accuracy, and ensure stable, efficient SAP operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) and Materials Management.
- Candidates should possess skills in SAP Warehouse Management and integration with related logistics processes.
- Candidates should possess solid understanding of Business Process analysis and design within manufacturing and distribution environments.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for troubleshooting, data validation, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience in implementing, supporting, or upgrading SAP MM and WM modules in an industrial or manufacturing context.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, with clear documentation and user-focused configurations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional, international teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; SAP certification in MM/WM is an advantage.
- Experience with integration to other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI/CO) and familiarity with project methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate, Agile) is beneficial.
