Position Summary The SAP FICO Functional Analyst will be responsible to maintain the SAP systems configuration in the Finance area. Candidates will be responsible for the definition and refinement of technical requirements based on the business/functional requirements. Candidates will also be responsible to prepare and publicize technical documentation that support the continuous delivery of software.

The analyst will comply with all the change control procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures in support of existing functionality, requested changes, and the development of new functionality.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

● Configures and supports the SAP Financials system

● Collaborates with design, development, and solution management.

● Leads or participates in functional and business requirements gathering sessions.

● Defines and writes specifications for configuration, user exits, and custom programs.

● Designs, develops, and conducts test plans for functional unit tests, regression tests and system integration tests.

● Presents, discusses and demonstrates SAP Best Practices.

● Performs analysis on error incidents including Intermediate Document (IDoc) rejects and system errors.

● Provides support of SAP applications, including integration points with other SAP modules and non-SAP applications to ensure business processes are maintained in a non-disruptive manner.

● Adheres to team and departmental development standards.

● Demonstrates a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization.

● Demonstrates excellent communication skills.

● Participates in team planning and activities for improving skills, knowledge, and quality of work.

● Available to work nights and weekends to perform 24x7 on-call support as scheduled or as needed.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications

Required:● 5+ years configuration experience in implementing/supporting SAP Financial applications in AP, AR, GL and AA area.

● 5+ years experience in AP/AR processes including manual invoice, Logistics invoice verification, payments process within SAP

● Knowledge of month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements.

● Requires thorough understanding and hands-on Design and Configuration experience of the various SAP S4Hana FICO modules - General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Investment Management.

● Strong understanding of standard SAP functionalities in overall finance processes including integration of Finance with other SAP modules.

● Strong knowledge of Financial processes, Accounting principles to effectively map the business requirements into SAP configurations.

● Experience in implementing and supporting SAP customization including reports, interfaces and enhancements.

● Must have a solid focus on customer needs.

● Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.

● Self-motivated, flexible, and open to learning.

● Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.
