Role Overview

Seeking an experienced SAP Product Costing Consultant with expertise in SAP CO-PC, Material Ledger, Cost Object Controlling, and manufacturing finance.

The role covers implementation, support, enhancement, and optimization of Product Costing solutions in collaboration with business, finance, manufacturing, and SAP teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product Costing Configuration & Support

- Configure and support Product Costing, including standard costing, cost component structures, costing and valuation variants, costing sheets, and overheads.
- Create and release standard cost estimates.
- Analyze and resolve costing issues.

Cost Object Controlling

- Configure and support Product Cost by Order/Period, production and process orders, and product cost collectors.
- Manage WIP, variance calculation, settlement, postings, and reconciliation.

Material Ledger & Actual Costing

- Configure Material Ledger and Actual Costing.
- Execute month-end closing and analyze price differences and inventory valuation impacts.
- Support multiple valuation and transfer-pricing scenarios.

Manufacturing Finance Support

- Gather manufacturing finance requirements.
- Support production cost, inventory valuation, variance, cost rollup, and allocation processes.
- Align costing structures with business needs.

SAP S/4HANA Responsibilities

- Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
- Support migration from ECC to S/4HANA.
- Understand Universal Journal integration.
- Support Margin Analysis integration.
- Validate cost flow postings in ACDOCA.
- Assist in material ledger conversion activities.

Month-End Closing Activities Support month-end and year-end close activities including:

- WIP Calculation
- Variance Calculation
- Order Settlement
- Actual Costing Run
- Material Ledger Closing
- Inventory Reconciliation
- Cost Center Allocations
- Profitability Analysis Validation
