Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Officer with experience in the Animal Feed Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and expanding the company's presence in the market. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of feed raw materials and have established connections within feed manufacturing plants and poultry farms.

Role & responsibilities

Develop and expand B2B and B2C sales of animal feed raw materials in assigned territories.

Generate new business opportunities and acquire new customers.

Build and maintain robust relationships with feed manufacturing companies, poultry farms, distributors, and key accounts.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with customers.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.

Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from customers.

Prepare and submit sales reports, MIS reports, forecasts, and market updates to management.

Represent the company during client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.





Travel extensively within assigned regions to meet customers and expand business.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of animal feed raw materials and the feed industry market.
- Understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong networking ability within feed manufacturing plants and poultry farms.
- Target-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and business development skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Excel, Word, and email communication.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong industry contacts within feed manufacturing companies and poultry farms.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities.
- Local candidates from Panchkula, Chandigarh, Mohali, or nearby regions will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Experience Requirements

- Minimum 1 to 5 years of sales experience in the Animal Feed, Poultry Feed, Feed Raw Materials, Agro Commodities, or related industry.
- Experience in handling and developing customer relationships within feed manufacturing plants and poultry farms will be preferred.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
