About the Role

We are looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead SME Business acquisition with a focus on Working Capital products (Cash Credit, Overdraft, Bill Discounting, Trade Finance facilities). The role owns the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to disbursement — for SME/MSME clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sourcing and acquisition of new-to-bank SME clients for working capital facilities (CC/OD, BG, LC, invoice/bill discounting)

- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, client meetings, needs assessment, proposal structuring, and closure

- Assess client financials (balance sheets, cash flow, banking statements) to structure appropriate working capital limits

- Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams for underwriting, documentation, and disbursement

- Build and manage a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring healthy utilization and renewal of limits





- Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for disbursements, book size, and fee income

- Develop referral channels via DSAs, CAs, industry associations, and existing client networks

- Monitor portfolio quality, ensure timely renewals, and minimize delinquency

- Cross-sell trade, forex, and transaction banking products to existing SME clients

Key Requirements

- Graduate/MBA in Finance, Business, or related field

- 6 - 11 years of experience in SME/Business Banking sales, with hands-on exposure to working capital products

- Robust understanding of credit assessment, financial statement analysis, and working capital cycles

- Proven track record of meeting sales/disbursement targets

- Good local market network and existing SME/CA/DSA connects preferred

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Preferred

- Prior experience with banks/NBFCs in SME lending or working capital financing

- Knowledge of trade finance and collateral/security documentation
