About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage Sales Operations, Logistics, and Customer Relationships for our Shrimp Hatchery. The ideal candidate will coordinate order processing, ensure timely and safe dispatch of post-larvae (PL) to customers, and build strong, lasting relationships with farmers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations

*Manage day-to-day sales order processing and coordinate with the production/hatchery team on stock availability.

*Track sales targets, prepare periodic sales reports, and support the sales team with data and documentation.

*Maintain accurate records of orders, dispatches, invoices, and payments.

*Coordinate pricing, quotations, and order confirmations with customers.

Logistics

*Plan and coordinate transportation of shrimp seed (post-larvae) to farms/customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

*Liaise with transport vendors, packaging teams, and hatchery staff to ensure smooth dispatch operations.

*Monitor stock movement, packaging quality, and delivery schedules to minimize transit losses.

*Handle logistics documentation and ensure compliance with transport and quality standards.





Customer Relationship Management

*Serve as the primary point of contact for farmer and distributor queries, complaints, and feedback.

*Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers while supporting new customer acquisition.

*Provide after-sales support and coordinate with technical/hatchery teams to resolve customer issues promptly.

*Gather market and customer feedback to support business and product improvements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

*Bachelor's degree/diploma in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, or a related field (mandatory).

*Minimum 1 year of experience working in a shrimp hatchery or aquaculture-related environment.

*Basic understanding of shrimp hatchery operations, post-larvae handling, and seed quality parameters.

*Positive communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer and farmer relationships.

*Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating logistics and documentation.

Willingness to travel locally for deliveries, farm visits, and customer meetings.

Mandatory Languages Known: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and English.

Other Requirements

Must be willing to relocate to the hatchery location.
