We are looking for a Sales Executive Over Counter to represent our perfume and fragrance brand at retail stores. The candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their fragrance preferences, recommending suitable products, driving conversions and achieving daily/monthly sales targets.

The ideal candidate should have a pleasant personality, good communication skills, confidence in approaching customers and a passion for perfumes and fragrances.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and engage customers visiting the store/counter in a friendly and qualified manner.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences and budget to recommend suitable perfumes and fragrances.
- Explain product features, fragrance notes, variants, longevity and usage to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and fragrance trials effectively.
- Drive customer conversions and achieve assigned daily, monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell perfumes, gift sets and other products wherever appropriate.
- Build strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat purchases.
- Maintain complete knowledge of the company's perfume portfolio, new launches and promotional schemes.
- Ensure attractive product display, counter visibility and merchandising as per company guidelines.
- Ensure the counter/store is clean, organised and adequately stocked.




- Monitor product availability and inform the concerned team about stock requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily sales and customer interaction records.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with the store team to resolve concerns.
- Participate in promotional activities, product launches and in-store campaigns.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, offers and customer preferences and share relevant market feedback.
- Ensure proper billing, collection and adherence to store procedures.
- Follow company policies related to attendance, grooming, customer service and sales reporting.

Candidate Profile
- Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate in any discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in perfumes, fragrances, cosmetics, beauty, fashion, lifestyle or FMCG.
- Freshers with good communication skills and a strong interest in perfumes may also be considered.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer-handling skills.
- Confident, energetic and comfortable approaching customers.
- Strong persuasion, selling and negotiation skills.
- Positive attitude and target-oriented approach.
- Good grooming and professional presentation.
- Willing to work in retail/store environments and rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as per business requirements.
