About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Retail Store Manager to support the overall management and daily operations of a FirstCry retail store in Haldwani. The candidate will assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

- Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store operations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the store and adherence to company SOPs.
- Monitor store opening/closing, housekeeping, grooming, and overall store standards.
- Ensure proper product display, merchandising, pricing, and replenishment.
- Coordinate with the warehouse/team for stock availability and movement.

Sales & Target Achievement

- Support achievement of daily, monthly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor individual team performance and motivate staff to achieve targets.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.

Team Management

- Assist in managing, guiding, and motivating the sales team.
- Allocate duties and monitor staff productivity.
- Support training and onboarding of new team members.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
- Handle basic employee-related issues and escalate them when required.





Inventory Management

- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Support stock audits, cycle counts, inward/outward processes, and inventory reconciliation.
- Minimize stock discrepancies, damages, and losses.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of merchandise.

Customer Service

- Handle customer queries, complaints, exchanges, and escalations professionally.
- Ensure a smooth and positive shopping experience.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in organized retail, baby & kids retail, fashion/apparel, lifestyle, footwear, department stores, or other high-footfall retail formats will be preferred.

Eligibility
- Graduate preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant retail experience.
- Experience in handling a retail team/store operations will be preferred.
- Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven retail setting.
- Presentable personality and professional grooming.

Salary As per experience and interview performance.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
