Industry: Kerala Restaurant / South Indian Cuisine
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain / Senior Waiter in a Kerala or South Indian restaurant.
- Positive knowledge of Kerala cuisine and restaurant service standards.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Should be able to communicate well with customers and staff.
- Malayalam language knowledge is preferred. Knowledge of English and Hindi/Kannada will be an advantage.
- Well-groomed, polite and well-behaved with customers and colleagues.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of taking orders, serving food, table management and handling customer requests.
- Ability to coordinate effectively between customers, kitchen and service staff.
- Should be responsible,
punctual and able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests professionally.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ensure proper and timely service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team.
- Handle customer requests and complaints politely.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper table setup.
- Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.
Preferred Candidate: Experienced, customer-focused, well-mannered and confident professionals with Kerala restaurant experience.
