Role Description The Research and Development Specialist role at ATPL is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The specialist will design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments to develop and improve construction chemical formulations, ensuring products meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting research on raw materials and new technologies, analyzing test data, documenting results, and preparing technical reports and product specifications.





The role involves collaborating with production, quality control, and technical sales teams to troubleshoot product issues, support customer applications, and optimize manufacturing processes. The specialist will also contribute to continuous refinement of quality benchmarks, participate in scale-up trials, and assist in the implementation of new products into commercial production.

Qualifications

- Strong Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills for designing experiments, evaluating formulations, and developing new products.
- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret test data, perform root-cause analysis, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Practical Laboratory Skills for handling chemicals, operating lab equipment, following safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records.
- Effective Communication skills to prepare clear technical documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support customer-facing technical discussions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in construction chemicals, building materials, or related industrial R&D; is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems, product testing standards, and relevant industry regulations.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced workplace.
