MPGI is looking for an experienced Head – Information Technology to take complete ownership of the institution’s IT operations, infrastructure, systems, security, and technology services. The role will lead the IT team and ensure seamless technology support across the entire campus.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the entire IT team and day-to-day IT operations.

- Take end-to-end responsibility for IT infrastructure, servers, networking, internet, Wi-Fi, hardware, and software.

- Manage and oversee computer labs, including systems, networking, software, maintenance, upgrades, and overall lab readiness.

- Manage ERP and other institutional IT systems.

- Take complete charge of the CCTV surveillance system, including installation, monitoring, maintenance, recording, and troubleshooting.

- Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, backups, access controls, and system security.

- Manage IT procurement, AMC, vendors, service providers, and technology contracts.

- Ensure timely resolution of IT issues across academic, administrative, hostel, laboratory, and other campus facilities.





- Plan and implement IT upgrades, digital initiatives, and technology projects.

- Prepare and manage the IT budget and ensure effective utilization of resources.

- Establish IT policies, SOPs, security standards, and operational processes.

- Provide regular updates and recommendations to the Management on IT infrastructure, risks, requirements, and improvements.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.

- 15+ years of relevant IT experience, including significant experience in a senior IT leadership role.

- Experience in managing large IT teams and end-to-end IT operations is essential.

- Strong experience in computer lab management and institutional IT infrastructure.

- Experience in the education/institutional sector will be preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
