79th East Private Limited is a Hyderabad-based investment services firm - an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-364145) and a distributor of Portfolio Management Services (PMS). We work with individuals, families, professionals, business owners and NRIs, and we put client understanding and suitability ahead of sales.

The role

As Relationship Manager you are the client's main point of contact. You will explain mutual funds, PMS and equity in simple language, match products to each client's risk profile, and grow the relationship over years. You will also build business through channel partners and remisiers, and represent the firm in investor-education webinars and seminars.

Key responsibilities

- Acquire new clients and manage an allotted client book across HNI, affluent, professional and NRI segments.
- Explain mutual funds, PMS and equity concepts to clients in simple, clear language.
- Carry out risk profiling and recommend suitable products, with full disclosure of risk, costs and taxation.
- Plan and deliver investor-education webinars and seminars, and follow up with attendees.
- Hold regular portfolio reviews and grow client relationships through SIPs, fresh investments and referrals.
- Build B2B business through channel partners - identify, onboard and manage registered MFDs and PMS distributors, with product training, sales support and regular business reviews.
- Coordinate onboarding, KYC and transactions with the operations team.
- Follow AMFI, SEBI and APMI norms at all times - no mis-selling, complete documentation.

What you must bring

- Valid NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) certificate.
- Minimum 2 years' client-facing experience in mutual funds, PMS, broking or banking investment sales.




- Local candidates only - you should already be based in Hyderabad and able to travel locally for client meetings.
- Positive knowledge of mutual funds, PMS and equity markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation and client-handling skills.
- Graduate in any discipline.

Added advantage

- NISM Series XXI-A (PMS Distributors) - required to distribute PMS; to be obtained after joining if not held.
- NISM Series X-A and X-B (Investment Adviser Level 1 and 2).
- Working knowledge of AI tools such as Claude, used for research, drafting client communication and day-to-day productivity.
- Experience in B2B / channel-partner business, or in managing sub-brokers or remisiers.
- CFP, CFA or MBA (Finance).
- Proficiency in Telugu and/or Hindi.

Location and salary

- Location: Ameerpet, Hyderabad - full-time, on-site, with local travel for client meetings.
- Salary: up to Rs 4,00,000 per year (CTC), based on experience.
