Regional Sales Manager East India

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business development, sales growth and key account management across the East India region. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to industrial technical sales, pumps/fluid-handling or process equipment and experience managing end-user, OEM and EPC accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies for the East India region.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop target accounts.
- Manage relationships with key customers, end users, OEMs, EPCs and consultants.
- Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation and enquiry development to technical proposal, commercial negotiation and order closure.
- Develop value-based/solution-selling approaches based on customer requirements.
- Achieve regional sales targets, revenue and profitability objectives.
- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage and strengthen existing customer relationships and increase business share.
- Coordinate with application engineering, proposal, service and internal teams for customer requirements.
- Lead,



guide and monitor the regional sales team.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reviews and regular business reports.
- Support customer visits, technical discussions, presentations and negotiations.

Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in industrial/technical B2B sales or business development.
- Strong experience in East India, preferably with established Kolkata market exposure.
- Experience in pumps, fluid handling equipment, valves, mechanical seals, heat exchangers, process equipment or similar industrial products preferred.
- Exposure to industries such as Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharma, Power, Steel, Mining, Fertilizer, Food & Beverage, Paper or Wastewater will be an advantage.
- Solid direct sales experience with end users/OEMs/EPCs preferred.
- Proven experience in key account management and regional business development.
- Team handling/leadership experience preferred.
- Strong techno-commercial negotiation and presentation skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi; Bengali/regional language will be an advantage.
