Role Description The Reels Editor (upto 15k) role at Apnaaapan is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur.

The Reels

Editor will be responsible for conceptualizing, editing, and producing short-form video content (Reels) for social media platforms, aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Key day-to-day tasks include selecting clips, trimming and arranging footage, adding music, captions, transitions, and basic visual effects to create engaging, high-retention videos. The role also involves collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm content ideas, stay updated on platform trends, and optimize Reels for audience engagement and reach.

The Reels

Editor will manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure all content adheres to quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in video editing for short-form content,



including experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Ability to create engaging social media Reels, with a solid understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms’ formats, trends, and best practices.
- Basic motion graphics and visual effects capabilities, including adding text overlays, transitions, and simple animations to enhance viewer engagement.
- Creative storytelling skills, with the ability to translate ideas and scripts into compelling visual narratives tailored to target audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, including accurate timing, sound sync, color consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with marketing, design, and content teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, handle multiple editing tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Prior experience in digital marketing or content creation for brands is preferred; familiarity with analytics and performance metrics for Reels is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Jaipur and commit to a full-time schedule; openness to feedback and continuous skill improvement.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or portfolio demonstrating Reels or short-form video work; formal education in media, film, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
