Role Description The R&D; Manager will lead research and development activities for dry-type transformers, driving innovation in product design, materials, and manufacturing processes. This full-time, in office role based in Uttarakhand, India involves planning and overseeing R&D; projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical research, supervising prototype development and testing, analyzing performance data, and implementing improvements to enhance product reliability and efficiency.

The R&D; Manager will collaborate closely with production, quality,



and sales teams to translate customer needs into practical engineering solutions and support new product introductions. The role also includes mentoring team members, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Research and Development (R&D;) and hands-on Research related to electrical equipment or transformers.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, motivate, and develop a technical R&D; team.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management abilities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring R&D; projects from concept to implementation.
- Candidates should possess a strong technical background in electrical engineering or a related field, with knowledge of transformer design and IEC standards.
- Candidates should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience in the UPS industry or power equipment manufacturing, and familiarity with testing, certification, and compliance processes, is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
