Job Summary

MJAM Associates is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with good knowledge of building construction, quantity measurement, billing, BOQ, and cost estimation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and verifying RA Bills, overall building bills, measurements, quantities, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify RA Bills (Running Account Bills).
- Prepare and verify overall building bills and final bills.
- Verify quantities and measurements based on actual site work.
- Check contractor bills against site measurements and BOQ.
- Prepare and verify quantity measurements for civil and building works.
- Check BOQ quantities, item descriptions, rates, variations, and deductions.
- Verify Measurement Books (MB) and supporting documents.
- Identify discrepancies in quantities, measurements, and bills.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project teams regarding billing and measurements.
- Conduct site visits for quantity measurement and verification.
- Monitor work progress and maintain accurate quantity records.
- Prepare quantity statements, measurement sheets, and billing documents.
- Assist in tracking project quantities and costs.
- Read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Maintain proper records of bills, measurements, BOQ,



and project documentation.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, billing, or building construction.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification preferred.
- Good knowledge of RA Bill preparation and verification.
- Experience in building bill and final bill preparation and verification.
- Valuable understanding of BOQ, measurements, quantities, and construction activities.
- Ability to read and understand civil and architectural drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and billing documentation.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in and around Madurai.
