Job Summary The Quantity Surveyor Manager is responsible for overseeing all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects. This role manages cost planning, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, valuation, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maximizing profitability and minimizing commercial risks.

Key ResponsibilitiesCost Management

- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.

- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

- Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings.

- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial performance reviews.

Contract Administration

- Manage contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements.

- Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance.

- Administer variations, claims, and change orders.

- Resolve contractual disputes and negotiate settlements when required.

Procurement & Tendering

- Lead tender evaluation and contractor/subcontractor selection processes.

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.

- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors.





- Support procurement strategies to achieve project objectives.

Project Commercial Control

- Track project progress against budget and schedule.

- Assess and certify contractor and subcontractor payment applications.

- Monitor project cash flow and revenue projections.

- Ensure accurate valuation of works and project profitability.

Risk Management

- Identify commercial and contractual risks.

- Develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.

- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.

Team Leadership

- Manage and mentor Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff.

- Allocate resources and oversee workload distribution.

- Conduct performance reviews and support career development.

- Promote best practices in commercial management.

Required Qualifications

- 8-15 years of quantity surveying or commercial management experience.

- Experience managing large-scale construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects.

- Proficiency in cost management and commercial reporting tools.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
