Key Responsibilities · Conduct quality inspection of incoming raw materials such as MDF, plywood, laminates, hardware, edge bands and other furniture components. · Inspect raw materials against approved specifications, dimensions, quality standards and purchase requirements . · Perform quality checks at different stages of the production line . · Check dimensions, cutting accuracy, edge banding, drilling, CNC machining, joints, hardware fitting and assembly quality . · Conduct final inspection of finished furniture before packing and dispatch . · Identify and document defects, rejection, rework and quality deviations . · Coordinate with Production to ensure timely rectification of quality issues . · Monitor recurring defects and identify their root causes . · Ensure production teams follow approved quality standards, drawings, specifications and work instructions . · Maintain quality inspection reports, rejection reports and checklists . · Ensure proper segregation and identification of rejected/non-conforming materials and products . · Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) .



· Coordinate with Purchase and Stores regarding rejected or non-conforming raw materials . · Continuously work towards reducing rejection, rework and material wastage .

Required Skills · Positive knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials . · Understanding of MDF, plywood, laminates, veneer, hardware and edge-banding materials. · Knowledge of CNC, Beam Saw, Edge Banding, drilling and furniture assembly processes . · Strong attention to detail and inspection skills. · Ability to read and understand technical/production drawings . · Good problem-solving and communication skills. · Basic knowledge of quality documentation and reporting .
