- Carry out inspection and dimensional verification of precision components.
- Operate and handle conventional metrology and precision inspection instruments.
- Perform inspections using special-purpose inspection machines as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances.
- Conduct accurate measurements and ensure components meet specified quality standards.
- Record and maintain inspection reports and measurement data.
- Identify dimensional deviations, defects, and non-conformities and report them to the concerned team.
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of precision measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Support inspection/surveillance activities and coordinate with client representatives when required.
- Maintain proper care, calibration status, and handling of inspection equipment.
Required Skills :
- Good knowledge of precision measurement and metrology.
- Hands-on experience with conventional measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of special-purpose inspection machines.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to demonstrate practical inspection skills during assessment.
Eligibility :
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) – Mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in precision component inspection.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate their inspection skills during evaluation.
- Experience in inspection/surveillance activities will be an added advantage.
