Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Industry: Precision Engineering / Aerospace & Defence / Optical Components / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of components, assemblies and finished products.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, specifications, inspection standards and customer requirements.
- Understand and interpret 2D engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, surface finish symbols and inspection requirements.
- Perform dimensional inspection using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, inspection records and quality documentation.
- Identify dimensional, visual and process-related defects and communicate them to the concerned departments.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for resolution of quality issues.
- Verify first-off/first-piece inspection and subsequent production components as per the inspection plan.
- Carry out inspection as per Inspection Plan, Control Plan, SOP, Work Instructions and applicable Quality Management System requirements.
- Ensure proper identification, traceability and segregation of accepted, rejected and rework components.
- Support Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Support calibration and proper handling of inspection and measuring equipment.
- Maintain inspection equipment and report any damaged or malfunctioning instruments.
- Support internal and external audits related to quality inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO 9001 / AS9100D requirements.

- Good knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation.

- Ability to identify critical dimensions and inspection characteristics.




- Basic knowledge of machining processes such as CNC turning, CNC milling, VMC, grinding, drilling and conventional machining.
- Knowledge of material identification and basic inspection requirements.
- Ability to read and understand customer drawings and specifications.

Preferred Skills
- Good knowledge of dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.
- Robust understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Good observation and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify defects accurately.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with Production and Quality teams.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Awareness of 5S, FOD and workplace safety.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100D will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile Qualification: B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 1-2 Years in Quality Inspection / Manufacturing Quality

Preferred Experience: Precision engineering, CNC machining, aerospace & defence, optical components or similar manufacturing industries.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
