About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team at Indication Instruments Limited. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our new product development processes, ensuring that quality standards are met from the initial design phase through to product launch. This role involves active participation in design reviews, risk assessments, and supplier quality management, with a focus on driving continual improvement and adherence to industry standards.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and supplier partners, to deliver innovative, reliable, and high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of AI applications and their integration within product development and quality assurance processes.




- Robust understanding of design validation, DFMEA, PFMEA, and related quality tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Prior experience in product development, quality assurance, or a related role is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Participate actively in all new product development activities starting from the launch stage, ensuring quality considerations are integrated into every phase.
- Attend and contribute to design review meetings to ensure that all quality requirements are thoroughly addressed and documented.
- Review and analyze DFMEA, PFMEA, and Design Validation Plan & Report (DVP&R;) activities to identify potential risks and ensure effective mitigation strategies are in place.
- Identify potential risks during product development and track the implementation and closure of mitigation actions to prevent quality issues.
- Review supplier quality activities related to new product development, including PPAP submissions, validation processes, and process capability studies, to maintain high standards of supplier quality.
- Implement lessons learned from previous projects and promote continuous quality improvement initiatives across teams.




- Ensure compliance with product and process quality standards during the development stage, facilitating smooth transition to production.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for any quality concerns identified in new products, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Support internal audits and customer PPAP audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory and customer requirements.
