Role & responsibilities

- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

- Ensure compliance with NABL, BIS, and other applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain and control quality documents, procedures, formats, records, and manuals.

- Coordinate internal audits, identify non-conformities, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

- Support management reviews and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

- Monitor calibration, equipment verification, testing records, and traceability requirements.

- Ensure proper implementation of quality procedures across laboratory activities.

- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure compliance with approved test methods and procedures.

- Maintain records related to proficiency testing, inter-laboratory comparisons, risk assessments, and quality objectives.

- Support external accreditation assessments and coordinate responses to assessment findings.

- Conduct awareness and training sessions for laboratory personnel on quality requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.





- 25 years of experience in a testing laboratory or quality management environment.

- Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.

- Experience with NABL accreditation and laboratory quality systems will be an advantage.

- Knowledge of internal auditing, risk management, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

- Good documentation and report-writing skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

- Positive communication and coordination skills.

- Experience in engineering, construction-material, faade, fire, or other specialized testing laboratories will be an added advantage.
