Company Description Infinity Quality Services (IQS) is a leading India-based provider of Inspection and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) services, supporting major industrial sectors with specialized testing solutions. The company offers a full range of inspection and training services that can be delivered either at client sites or in dedicated classrooms, depending on organizational needs. All inspections and training are conducted by technicians and instructors certified to SNT-TC-1A requirements by the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT).

IQS has hands-on experience in performing and witnessing inspections for equipment, components, and materials, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant, dimensional, hardness, and visual inspections, as well as casting, forging, welding, and automotive parts. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Inspector role based in Panihati.

The Quality Control

Inspector will conduct routine inspections and non-destructive tests on materials, components, and equipment to ensure they meet specified standards and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include performing methods such as ultrasonic flaw detection, thickness gauging, magnetic particle inspection, penetrant testing, dimensional checks, hardness testing, and visual inspections as applicable.



The role involves documenting findings, preparing transparent inspection reports, communicating results to supervisors and clients, and supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

The inspector will follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and quality management systems while collaborating with team members and maintaining inspection tools and records.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Inspection for industrial components, equipment, and materials.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management to support compliance with standards and client specifications.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to document results, prepare reports, and interact effectively with teams and clients.
- Relevant experience with non-destructive testing methods (e.g., UFD, UTG, MPI, PT) and visual and dimensional inspections is highly beneficial.
- Certification or training in NDE (such as ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent) is preferred.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to follow technical procedures and safety protocols are essential.
- Previous experience in industrial sectors such as fabrication, automotive, marine, or process industries is an advantage.
- Minimum of a relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, metallurgy, or a related discipline is beneficial.
