QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER (Boiler & Pressure Parts)

We manufacture IBR-certified boilers and pressure parts. Looking for a Quality Control Engineer to manage plant quality and inspection activities, ensuring compliance with IBR, ISO procedures, drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee quality control and stage inspections across production.
- Monitor fabrication, fit-up, welding, bending, assembly and dimensional accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, ITP, WPS/PQR, IBR and ISO procedures.
- Coordinate with IBR, TUV, Lloyd’s and other inspection agencies.
- Prepare and maintain IBR, inspection and quality documentation and material traceability.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Stores and Purchase teams to resolve quality issues.




- Identify non-conformities and support corrective actions to reduce rework/rejection.

Requirements

- BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience in boiler/pressure vessel/heavy fabrication preferred.
- Knowledge of IBR, ISO, WPS/PQR and basic NDT.
- Ability to read engineering drawings; valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office/computer applications; ERP knowledge is an advantage.
