About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist – Automation to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web and software applications.

The candidate should have strong experience in automation testing, API testing, regression testing, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or other defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide detailed reports.
- Ensure test coverage across critical business workflows and edge cases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.

Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright,



or similar automation tools.
- Programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience in API testing and automation.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of mobile automation using Appium.
- Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Performance testing experience using JMeter or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized test environments.
- Experience working with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience in writing automation frameworks from scratch.

Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
