Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Qualified Chartered Accountant based in Bengaluru North. The role involves managing statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory compliance for clients, including preparation and review of financial statements and related documentation.

The professional will handle direct and indirect tax matters, assist with filings, and advise on tax planning in line with current regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing accounting processes, ensuring accurate books of accounts, supporting clients with India entry and set-up requirements, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.



The role also requires drafting professional reports, presenting findings and recommendations to clients, and contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the firm.

Qualifications

- Professional accounting and compliance skills: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Taxation and advisory expertise: Experience in direct and indirect tax, return filings, tax planning, and advisory work for corporate and entrepreneurial clients.
- Financial analysis and reporting: Ability to prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and analytical summaries for decision-making.
- Client service and communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, understand business needs, and provide clear, practical advice.
- Technical and tool proficiency: Comfort with accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and ability to adapt to current financial tools and systems.
- Professional background: Prior experience in consulting, audit, or professional services environment; exposure to India entry assignments or start-up/entrepreneur support is an advantage.
- Work approach: High level of integrity, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple engagements, and readiness to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
