About the Role

Appdid Technologies Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester / Software QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing concepts, good analytical skills, and hands-on experience in testing web and/or mobile applications.

You will be responsible for identifying bugs, ensuring product quality, and working closely with developers and the project team to deliver reliable and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements to understand testing needs.

Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing.

Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate bug-tracking tools.

Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing.

Test web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices.

Verify application functionality against requirements and expected behavior.

Work closely with developers to understand and resolve issues.

Participate in requirement discussions and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.

Maintain proper testing documentation and reports.

Identify potential risks and edge cases before product release.





Coordinate and manage third-party related work

Ensure the final product meets quality and usability standards.

Required Skills

1–3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.

Positive understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts.

Experience in writing detailed test cases and test scenarios.

Good understanding of functional and regression testing.

Knowledge of API testing and Postman.

Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing.

Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar tools.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Solid attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have

Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Basic understanding of programming/scripting languages.

Experience testing REST APIs.

Experience with mobile application testing.

Knowledge of Git/version control.
