QA Senior Lead (Contract/FTE) Experience: 11–15 Years Company - LTI Mindtree Location: Kolkata Budget: As per Market Standards Role Overview We are looking for a QA Senior Lead to lead quality assurance for a large-scale, cloud-native media content platform handling massive volumes of media data including articles, videos, and audio. The role will focus on API testing, data validation, automation, performance testing, and QA strategy, while leading the team and driving quality across the complete data lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor QA engineers and define the overall QA strategy.

Drive

Shift-Left testing and integrate quality practices across the SDLC. Own end-to-end testing for data ingestion, processing, storage, and API consumption. Test ingestion workflows, SNS/SQS, scheduled jobs, and REST APIs including keyword, category, and semantic search. Perform large-scale validation of JSON datasets using AWS S3, Athena, SQL, and Glue Crawlers. Validate metadata, mappings, date logic, filtering, and data accuracy across multiple sources. Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript/Jest and/or Python/Pytest. Integrate API automation and JSON schema validation into CI/CD pipelines. Design and execute high-volume load and performance testing using Locust. Analyse bottlenecks across ALB, ECS, downstream services, API latency, and search performance. Build and monitor QA/observability dashboards using New Relic and OpenSearch.



Maintain test strategies, edge cases, performance reports, and QA documentation in Confluence. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and other stakeholders to resolve complex issues.

Strong experience in API automation, data validation, and performance testing. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong stakeholder communication and team mentoring experience. Ability to work in a agile, cross-functional environment.
