About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a detailed eye and quick learning abilities to grasp a new product quickly and be able to own up specific modules in every sprint, write effective, clear & precise TestCases, plan and executing them enabling us to provide Full Test Coverage & a world class quality to our customers. We are also looking for an engineer who has hands-on experience on Automation, for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Take end-to-end ownership of modules assigned in every sprint involving creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases, follow through meticulous executions and retest cycles and finally releasing the modules to production
- Enhancing existing test suites by finding gaps to ensure there is no bug leakage to production.
- Exhibit complete ownership of Assigned areas. Proactively collaborating with PM and Dev regarding build timelines, bug fixes and taking the assigned modules to release by owning it up completely.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to resolve issues
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright .
- Experience in API automation (Karate DSL, RestAssured, Playwright API, etc.) Any one of these will work for us.
- Work with AI-based testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
- Be able to proactively manage expectations, releases and engage and communicate with cross-functional team
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and QA processes.




- Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements

Required Skills:

- 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
- Experience in creating and maintaining detailed test cases, test scenarios, and feature documentation.
- Valuable understanding of REST APIs and API testing methodologies.
- A fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and business domains.
- Proactive, responsive, and accountable with a strong sense of ownership.
- A collaborative team player who communicates effectively and responds promptly.

What do things look like after the first 3 months?:

1. Independently own at least one SponsorCloud module from requirement review through testing, retesting, and release validation.
2. Create and execute comprehensive functional, negative, regression, and role-based test coverage.
3. Identify gaps in existing test suites and reduce the risk of defect leakage.
4. Contribute Playwright automation and basic API tests for critical business workflows.
5. Demonstrate proactive communication, accountability, and effective collaboration with Product and Development teams.

What do things look like after the first 6 months?:

1. Independently own multiple modules or complete end-to-end workflows across several sprints.
2. Maintain strong manual, Playwright, and API test coverage for assigned areas.
3. Contribute reliable automation to the regression and CI test suites.
4. Identify recurring quality risks and implement measurable improvements in test coverage, process, or automation stability.
5. Be recognized as a dependable QA owner who actively supports release readiness and cross-functional quality decisions.
