: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly detailed and experienced

Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead and elevate the quality operations at our premier wet wipes manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality management system (QMS)—spanning raw materials (substrates, chemicals, packaging), in-process liquid formulation/blending, converting line operations, and finished goods testing.The ideal candidate will foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring that all products meet standard requirements, FDA/Cosmetic regulations, cGMP guidelines, and ISO standards.Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory & Compliance Management

- Maintain and optimize the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) in strict accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP), and OTC drug standards if applicable.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections, third-party certification bodies, and client audits.
- Ensure strict hygiene, sanitisation, and contamination control protocols across all manufacturing lines.

Laboratory & Microbiological Oversight

- Supervise the quality control laboratory, ensuring absolute precision in chemical assay and microbiological testing programs (crucial for water-based wet wipe safety).
- Establish protocols for testing bulk lotion formulations, raw chemical components, and finished wipe physical properties (e.g., tensile strength, absorbency, liquid load).
- Maintain data integrity and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) for all laboratory testing equipment.

Operational Quality & CAPA

- Define sampling plans and quality gates for the converting, folding, liquid dosing, and packaging production lines.
- Lead investigations into product deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results,



and customer complaints.
- Drive the implementation of robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to mitigate future defects and minimize manufacturing waste.
- Manage supplier quality, conducting audits of substrate (non-woven) and chemical suppliers to guarantee raw material consistency.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

- Manage, mentor, and train a dedicated team of QA engineers, QC lab technicians, and line inspectors.
- Partner closely with the R&D; and Production teams during new product development (NPD) to validate manufacturing lines and formulation scales.
- Present regular Quality Management Reviews (QMR) highlighting trend data, risk areas, and key performance metrics to executive leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in
- Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related Scientific field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing setup, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role. Direct experience in FMCG, Personal Care, Cosmetics, or Wet Wipes manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of liquid formulation blending, non-woven substrate behaviors, and high-speed packaging machinery constraints.
- Standards Proficiency: Strong command over cGMP (Current Valuable Manufacturing Practices), ISO standards, and microbiological hygiene rules.
- Methodologies: Expert proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), statistical process control (SPC), and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
- Soft Skills: Assertive leadership, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and crisp cross-functional communication skills.

What We Offer Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
