Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, spare parts, services, and other required items. The candidate will ensure timely procurement at the right quality and competitive cost while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers and vendors.
- Source quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor pending Purchase Orders and follow up on delivery commitments.
- Ensure purchased materials meet required quality specifications.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Accounts, and Management for procurement requirements.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs, invoices, and related documentation.




- Support cost-reduction and alternate-vendor development initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procurement procedures.
- Coordinate with Accounts for invoice and payment-related issues.
- Handle urgent procurement requirements and minimize material shortages.
- Maintain proper records in ERP/SAP or other procurement software .
