Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage and optimize our construction procurement cycle. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain activities, from identifying and onboarding vendors to ensuring the timely delivery of critical construction materials (such as cement, steel, electrical, and plumbing items) to our project sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a sharp eye for cost-saving opportunities, and the ability to seamlessly coordinate with cross-functional internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers; maintain comprehensive vendor databases and continuously track performance based on quality, price, and service.

Procurement Operations: Obtain and compare competitive quotations; negotiate highly favorable prices, payment terms, warranties, and delivery timelines; issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs).

Risk & Issue Resolution:



Track delivery schedules closely to ensure on-time site arrival; proactively resolve shortages, quality discrepancies, delays, and invoice mismatches.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Project, Engineering, Finance, Stores, and Contracts teams to align on procurement requirements and project timelines.

Compliance & Monitoring: Monitor shifting market prices to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring all activities comply with company budgets, policies, and approval workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, specifically within the construction

Strong knowledge of structural and finishing construction materials.

Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Proficiency in handling procurement documentation, vendor contracts, and database management software.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
