Role Description The Purchasing Executive is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities for solar projects. This role involves processing and tracking purchase requisitions, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.

The Purchasing

Executive will coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and quality,



and maintain accurate records in purchasing systems. The role includes monitoring vendor performance, resolving delivery or quality issues, and supporting inventory planning to avoid project delays.

Executive will collaborate closely with the project, operations, and finance teams to maintain cost efficiency and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Purchase Management, including handling Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
- Experience in Procurement activities, vendor coordination, and supplier relationship management.
- Effective Communication skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.
- Understanding of basic commercial terms, pricing, and contracts related to materials and services.
- Prior experience in purchasing or supply chain within the renewable energy, construction, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or procurement software tools.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
- Graduate degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
