Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager with relevant experience in solar products and equipment procurement. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end purchasing, vendor management, price negotiation, purchase order management, and ensuring the timely availability of quality materials for solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of solar products, equipment, components, and project materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Source materials and obtain competitive quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials according to project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project, Stores, Accounts, and Management teams for smooth procurement operations.
- Verify product specifications, quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery terms before placing orders.
- Maintain robust relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendor networks.
- Monitor pending purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material availability.
- Track market prices and maintain awareness of solar product availability and pricing trends.
- Resolve supplier-related issues involving quality,



delivery, pricing, and replacement of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor details.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining required quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma or relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in the Solar Energy or Renewable Energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of solar products, equipment, components, and procurement processes.
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with hands-on experience in solar product purchasing/procurement will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement requirements.
- Strong focus on cost control, timely delivery, and vendor relationship management.

Compensation ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and current CTC.
