Purchase Officer – Pharmaceutical Formulation Plant

Location: Jarod-Savli road, Vadodara

We are looking for a Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities for our pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase API, excipients, packaging materials, consumables, and engineering/general items.
- Source quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate with vendors.
- Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and Finance.
- Develop and manage approved vendors and monitor vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and GMP requirements.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor documents, and MIS reports.




- Support cost optimization and ensure uninterrupted material availability.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in B.Com/BBA/B.Pharm/B.Sc./Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of purchase/procurement experience in a pharmaceutical formulation plant preferred.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials and packaging materials.
- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
- Positive negotiation, communication, vendor management, and follow-up skills.
