Role Description The Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of products. This role includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and deliveries.

The Purchase

Manager monitors market trends, assesses product demand, and collaborates with internal teams such as operations, finance, and merchandising to align purchasing decisions with sales and budgeting goals. Day-to-day tasks involve tracking supplier performance, resolving issues related to quality or delivery,



optimizing stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock, and ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards. The individual in this role is expected to drive efficiency in procurement processes and support the company’s commitment to delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

- Robust procurement and supply chain skills, including vendor management, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Experience in negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
- Ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and use basic financial and budgeting principles in purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency with ERP or procurement software and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets and reporting systems).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build supplier relationships.
- Proven organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
- Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG purchasing is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
