Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of laboratory reagents, consumables, chemicals, equipment, and general supplies.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Generate Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and maintain procurement records in Mercury software.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and goods received before processing payments.
- Maintain vendor database, pricing history, and supplier performance records.
- Coordinate with laboratory, stores, finance, and other departments to meet procurement requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Support periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
