Position: Purchase Executive

Industry: Civil Construction / Building Construction

Experience: 2 to 5 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for civil construction projects, ensuring timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procure civil construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, hardware, and other project requirements.
- Identify and evaluate suitable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain purchase records.
- Coordinate with Project, Site, Stores,



and Accounts teams for material requirements.
- Monitor material deliveries and ensure on-time supply to project sites.
- Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
- Track purchase orders, pending deliveries, and material shortages.
- Verify material specifications and coordinate with the site/QC team for quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain proper documentation of quotations, POs, invoices, and delivery records.
