We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with an ECE / EEE / related technical background and minimum 3 years of experience in procurement.

The candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring networking, IT infrastructure, electronic and ELV materials, coordinating with vendors, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.

- Handle end-to-end procurement of networking and electronic materials for projects.

- Source materials such as

- Network Switches

- Routers

- Access Points

- Network Racks

- Patch Panels

- CAT6/CAT6A Cables
- Fiber Optic Cables & Accessories

- SFP Modules

- Network Accessories
- CCTV & Surveillance-related materials

- Servers and IT Hardware
- UPS and Power-related equipment

- Electronic and ELV components
- Identify and develop reliable vendors, distributors and OEM partners.
- Obtain and compare multiple quotations based on price, specifications, quality, warranty and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and commercial terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate with vendors for order execution.
- Verify technical specifications and ensure materials meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Stores, Accounts and Vendors for procurement requirements.
- Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Follow up on pending orders, shortages, damages and replacement materials.
- Maintain proper vendor records, quotation comparisons, POs and procurement documentation.




- Support vendor evaluation and development of alternate sources.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Stores team for material receipt and reconciliation.
- Ensure procurement is carried out as per company policies and approved budgets.
- Handle urgent/emergency procurement requirements for project execution.

Technical Skills Required

- Good knowledge of Networking and IT infrastructure materials.
- Understanding of basic electronics and electrical components.
- Knowledge of networking products, brands, specifications and accessories.
- Ability to understand BOQ, BOM, technical specifications and project requirements.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Experience in ERP / Purchase Management Software will be an advantage.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to compare technical and commercial quotations.

Educational Qualification

Required:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics, Electrical or related discipline.

Experience:

- min 3 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
- Candidates with experience in networking, IT infrastructure, ELV, system integration, electronics or project procurement will be preferred.
