Procurement & Supplier Management

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for sheet metal stamping parts, plastic injection molded parts, and automotive components.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply and improved commercial performance.
- Identify and develop new suppliers in line with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

RFQ & Costing

- Handle RFQ preparation, quotation analysis, supplier comparison, and commercial negotiations.
- Perform detailed zero-based costing for stamping and plastic parts, including:

- Raw material costing

- Process and conversion costing

- Tooling and amortization analysis

- Machine hour rate calculations
- Support localization and cost reduction initiatives through value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE).

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Finance, and Program teams for new project sourcing and supplier readiness.
- Ensure timely support for new product development and launch activities.

Supplier Performance & Negotiation

- Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, annual cost reduction, and commercial agreements.




- Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness.
- Resolve supplier-related commercial and supply chain issues effectively.

Systems & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, documentation, and ERP/SAP processes.
- Maintain procurement MIS, sourcing records, and supplier documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 10-12 years of experience in automotive purchase/procurement.
- Strong exposure to sourcing of stamping parts and plastic molded components.

- Expertise in:
- Zero-based costing

- RFQ management

- Supplier development

- Vendor negotiations

- Cost optimization
- Good understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in OEM/Tier-1 automotive companies preferred.

Qualification

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations Management is an added advantage.
