Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Public Speaking and Communications Mentor. The mentor will guide learners in developing strong public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills through live online sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering structured lessons, providing individualized feedback, designing engaging practice activities, and monitoring learner progress.

The mentor will collaborate with academic and content teams to refine curriculum, incorporate interactive tools, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.



The role also involves creating a supportive learning environment that builds confidence, critical thinking, and professional communication readiness.

Qualifications

- Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with experience mentoring or coaching individuals or groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear articulation, active listening, and constructive feedback.
- Background in teaching, training, or facilitation, preferably in communication skills, soft skills, or related areas.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, interactive activities, and practical exercises tailored to diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital collaboration tools, and basic e-learning technologies.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to work effectively with diverse learners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, English, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in corporate training, debate clubs, theater, or professional speaking engagements is an advantage.
- Reliable internet connection, suitable remote working setup, and ability to manage flexible schedules.
