Hiring: GenAI Prompt Engineer / AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced GenAI Prompt Engineer / AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and optimize system prompts, task prompts, prompt templates, and few-shot examples.
- Implement prompt chaining, task decomposition, structured outputs, and context-window management.
- Build and enhance GenAI capabilities using existing RAG architectures.
- Work on document chunking, embeddings, retrieval optimization, reranking, grounding, and source attribution.
- Diagnose issues related to prompts, retrieval quality, source quality, hallucinations, context loss, and non-deterministic outputs.
- Establish and improve AI evaluation processes using golden datasets, evaluation rubrics, human review, and regression testing.
- Monitor output quality for factual accuracy, completeness, consistency, and source traceability.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers, SMEs, product teams, and US/European stakeholders.
- Document prompt strategies, evaluation results, technical decisions, and improvements.
- Support the Lead AI Engineer in delivering production-grade GenAI solutions.

Mandatory Skills

- 8+ years of experience in Software, Data, AI, or related engineering roles.




- 3+ years of hands-on GenAI experience in production or enterprise pilot environments.
- Strong Prompt Engineering and LLM application development experience.
- Strong understanding of RAG, including chunking, embeddings, retrieval tuning, grounding, and source attribution.
- Experience with AI/LLM evaluation, golden datasets, rubric-based evaluation, human review, and regression testing.
- Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, GitHub Copilot, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
- Strong Python or equivalent programming experience.
- Understanding of hallucination, non-determinism, prompt drift, and context-loss challenges.
- Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
- Jira is mandatory.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Biotech.
- Experience with HEOR, medical writing, regulatory authoring, or market access.
- Experience building AI-assisted long-form or evidence-grounded content.
- Agentic AI, orchestration, knowledge graphs, or multi-step reasoning.
- Experience with GxP-adjacent environments.
- SharePoint, Power Automate, UiPath, or document workflow experience.
- Technical leadership experience.
