Position: Project Engineer – ELV & Fire Protection Systems

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled and experienced Project Engineer with hands-on experience in ELV and Fire Protection/Fire Fighting Systems. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, installation, testing, commissioning, project coordination, and successful handover of projects as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute and monitor project activities from installation to testing, commissioning and handover.
- Supervise installation and execution of ELV and Fire Protection/Fire Fighting systems at project sites.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, BOQs, specifications and schematics.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Manage technicians, supervisors and subcontractors at site.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion as per project schedule.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure proper quality and workmanship.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure proper utilization at site.
- Conduct testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of installed systems.
- Attend client/consultant inspections and close site snags.
- Prepare/maintain testing reports, as-built drawings, handover documents and other project records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and company procedures.





Mandatory Technical Experience The candidate must have hands-on project execution experience in:

ELV Systems

- Fire Alarm & Fire Detection System
- Public Address / Voice Evacuation System

- CCTV / Video Surveillance

- Access Control System

- Structured Cabling / Networking

- BMS / IBMS integration
- Other ELV systems as applicable to the project

Fire Protection / Fire Fighting Systems:
- Fire Fighting Piping System

- Fire Hydrant System

- Sprinkler System
- Fire Pump & Pump Room
- Fire Hose Reel / Fire Hose System

- Fire Suppression Systems
- Testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of fire protection systems

Mandatory Requirements
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in ELV and Fire Protection/Fire Fighting project execution.
- Hands-on experience in both ELV and Fire Protection/Fire Fighting systems is mandatory.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical or relevant engineering discipline.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, BOQ and project specifications.
- Solid site coordination and team management skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial, industrial, residential or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures.
- Experience in client/consultant coordination.
- Knowledge of relevant fire safety standards and project requirements.
- Ability to independently handle site execution activities.
