Project Manager – Wellness Resorts & Partnerships
We are looking for a Project Manager to work closely with the senior leadership team, and external partners on wellness resort growth, new venture evaluation, and strategic partnerships.
This role is not limited to tracking tasks. The person will be expected to keep leadership informed, move decisions forward, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure that agreed actions are completed on time.
Role Purpose The Project Manager will act as the central coordination point for a portfolio of wellness resort and partnership initiatives. This includes supporting existing resort operations, assessing potential wellness retreat opportunities in India and overseas, engaging hospitality and technology partners, and maintaining an active network of wellness experts.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working directly with senior executives, business owners, consultants, and potential partners. They should be structured, commercially aware, and able to handle multiple workstreams without losing follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary coordination link between the senior leadership team, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare regular updates for the leadership team on priorities, decisions required, progress against plans, risks, and next actions.
- Manage project plans, timelines, meeting cadence, action trackers, and stakeholder communications across multiple initiatives.
- Support the growth and improvement of existing wellness resort businesses.
- Evaluate potential wellness retreat, resort, land, property, and business acquisition opportunities in India and, where relevant, international markets.
- Conduct preliminary research on potential locations, including market demand, accessibility, local competition, tourism trends, regulatory considerations, operating feasibility, and partner availability.
- Coordinate discussions with property owners, sellers, operators, hospitality companies, consultants, and potential collaborators.
- Support commercial discussions and negotiations with sellers, business owners, hospitality partners, and technology providers.
- Track leadership assignments and ensure that owners, deadlines, dependencies, and outcomes are clearly documented.
- Build and maintain relationships with wellness experts in India and the United States, including clinicians, therapists, retreat designers, nutrition specialists, fitness professionals, and wellness program advisors.
- Identify technology companies that can support wellness operations, guest experience, bookings,
CRM, diagnostics, preventive health, digital engagement, or operational reporting.
- Coordinate partnership discussions and help prepare proposals, commercial summaries, meeting notes, and draft agreements.
- Escalate delays, decision gaps, and project risks early, with practical options for resolution.
Key Deliverables
Weekly leadership status report
Concise update covering project status, key achievements, upcoming milestones, decisions required, risks, and action owners
Project plans
Detailed plans for each initiative, including scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, responsibilities, and risk mitigation actions
Opportunity assessment reports
Location and business evaluation reports for prospective resorts, retreats, properties, or partnerships
Stakeholder communication log
Record of meetings, discussions, commitments, follow-up actions, and relationship status with partners and experts
Partnership proposals
Structured proposals for hospitality, wellness, and technology partners, including commercial rationale and next steps
Expert network database
Curated list of wellness experts, their areas of expertise, contact details, past interactions, and potential contribution to current projects
Leadership action tracker
Central tracker for Chairman and senior-management assignments, with ownership, deadlines, progress, and closure status
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, business development, strategy, hospitality, wellness, real estate, consulting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with senior executives and manage confidential or high-priority assignments.
- Experience coordinating external stakeholders, including business owners, consultants, vendors, operators, and strategic partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear executive updates and meeting summaries.
- Good commercial judgment and confidence in supporting negotiations and partnership discussions.
- Ability to assess business opportunities using structured criteria rather than relying only on informal discussions.
- Strong follow-through,
attention to detail, and discipline in managing action items.
- Ability to manage several active initiatives at the same time while maintaining explicit priorities.
- Proficiency with project-management and productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with the Indian wellness, hospitality, tourism, healthcare, preventive health, or retreat market will be an advantage.
- International exposure or experience working with stakeholders in the United States, Middle East, Europe, or Southeast Asia would be useful.
Preferred Profile The ideal candidate will be practical, organized, and commercially minded. They should be able to move comfortably between a executive-level briefing, a discussion with a resort operator, a call with a wellness expert, and follow-up with a technology vendor. They must know how to turn discussions into clear next steps. For example, after an initial conversation with a resort owner, the Project Manager should document the opportunity, identify missing information, arrange due diligence inputs, track commercial assumptions, and prepare a short decision note for leadership.
This role will suit someone who enjoys building order around complex, evolving initiatives and is willing to take ownership of follow-up rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
